Memory of Hank Jefferson

The Borough of Magnolia would like to extend
condolences to the family and friends of Hank Jefferson who faithfully
served the Magnolia Police Department as Chief of Police for 27
years.
Jefferson, Henry G. "Hank" On
March 1, 2010 of Clementon, NJ. Age 61 years. Beloved husband of
Patricia (nee Danzi). Loving son of Loretta Jefferson and the late
Henry. Devoted father of Hank (Lorraine), Dan (Maria), Andrea
Keating, Cali Kremer, Bob Rice (Kimmie), Patti Rice, Joni Ducey
(Joe), Michael and Christopher Kruce. Dear brother of Loretta
Deeney, Terri LaRue, Mike, and Eddie Jefferson. Proud grandfather of
11. He will be missed by his special cat "Pookie". Hank had 30 years
experience on the Magnolia Police Department, retiring in 2000 after
27 years of service as the Chief of Police; he is believed to have
been the youngest Police Chief in the State. He served in the US
Marine Corps in Vietnam, and while Chief of Police he served in the
US Army Reserves retiring with the rank of Major. A graduate of
Rutgers University, he also attended the FBI National Academy; Chief
Jefferson was past President of Camden County Police Chief's Assn.
and the South Jersey Police Chief's Assn., and member of the Int'l.
Assn. of Chiefs of Police, and the PFC Giordano Marine Corps League.
Hank was a dedicated member of the Board of Directors of the Camden
County Hero Scholarship Fund. Relatives and friends are invited to
attend his viewing Monday 9:00AM at the COSTANTINO FUNERAL HOME 231
W. WHITE HORSE PIKE BERLIN, NJ. Funeral Service with military honors
12:00Noon. Interment and cremation will be private. In lieu of
flowers contributions in Hank's memory may be made to the Animal
