Fire units in Evesham, Magnolia get funding

Evesham and Magnolia are among seven New Jersey fire departments receiving federal aid, Sens. Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez announced Thursday.

Evesham Fire-Rescue will receive $44,100 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds while Magnolia Fire Company will receive $96,188.

These Assistance to Firefighters grants can be used for training, equipment, personal protective
equipment, health programs and other support for stations and facilities, according to officials.

Other towns included in the grant include Monroe Township in Middlesex County, Kearny, Princeton
Junction, Belleville, and Pomona.
